First mods on the cobra?
I noticed that the air silencer on my Cobra is still on. Should I take it off, or does it even matter. Also, Im kind of lost as to which direction I should go with it. What are the first 3 things I should do to it? Performance wise, not cosmetics, or suspension for the moment.

Yes you might as well take off the silencer..it only takes a couple minutes and with the K&N it will add up to a couple horses. Since you already have the shorty headers i would finish up the exaust with a good H-Pipe and hi performance mufflers. Oh yeah and there is still free stuff you could do on that cobra like bump the timing up to 13-14 deg. and use 93 octane. Everything else depends on what you want and how fast you want it to go??

When all is said and done, I'm looking for low 13's...maybe high twelves. I'm thinking: Bassani X, Magnaflow Cat-back, some sort of CAI, with a bigger MAF, and then it's sort of up in the air. Should I go with a stroker kit? Should I go with better heads and intake, or just port the stock ones? How bout a blower? What's a good cam? So many questions...any help is much appreciated.
