What rims and slicks are you running

15 x 8 rims for 10" slick? Summit suggests 9" rims. Does anyone put 10" slick on a 15 x 7" 10 hole?

I'm using factory Mustang 10 hole rims, with the M/T 26x8.5's drags. They fit just perfect I think and haven't had any problems with the tire spinning on the rim yet.

The worst problem with using the wrong width wheel is too much crown in the tire contact surface. If the tire crowns too much you don't use the available amount of traction from the tire. You will be able to see where the tire does not contact on the outer edges of the tire.

I was using stock turbines with 26x9 inch hoosier slicks. Hooked up awesome.
