Traclink Kit ???
I was just thumbing through my Mustangs Unlimited catalog. When I came across the Traclink kit by Advanced Suspension. It's pretty much a kit that will eliminate the use of the factory Quad Shocks. Allowing the use of wider tires etc, etc. Has anybody heard of this or maybe have it, or let alone seen it? It's huge.
------------------ Black 88 GT, BBK equal length headers, Pro 5.0 shifter, Off-road H, Dynomax Ultraflo exhaust, 355 gears, 190 fuel pump,K&N/March ram air,and 31 Spline Auburn Pro rear. In the works of a blown 347 stroker motor. |
I had the traklink by global west. If it is the same thing it is nice. You can ditch the quad shocks, adjust the pinion angle, and preload the rear. Hooks nice at the drag strip, but I think it is more for road racing.

I have the GBWest traklink - I got mine from the M.U. catalog as well.
very little fishtailing or wheel hop.. The car seems to track straighter. There are other competing brands and alternatives like Steeda's 5 link rear. ------------------ 90 LX 5.0 Convert. moroso cold air ,73 mm MAF, 65 mm FMS TB, Cobra intake, adj fuel pres reg. 24# inj, 155lph fuel pump, accel supercoil, electric fan, 180 deg balanced theromstat, 3 row HD radiator, march underdrive pulleys, GT40X heads, 1.7 Roller Rockers, Mac 1 5/8 shorty headers, hi-flow 2.25" cats, dynomax superturbo 2.5" cat back, g-brace, strut tower brace, Global West TBF-1 lower control arms, caster/camber plates, steeda rear adj swaybar, GlobalWest Traclink torque arm, SVO 73mm ca |
