Mr. 5.0....ANYONE...HELP!!! RING PINION QUESTION!!!
 

Alright everyone I'm ordering a 8.8, 3.73 ford motor sport ring and pinion... this is for my 302 90 LX 5.0 Convertible AOD...now I need to know the SPLINE count on it. How many. Cause I need to know b4 I order the installation kit. ANY1 WHO CAN HELP ME OUT HERE PLEASE?!?!! thanx in advance!!!

If you've got the stock axles, you have 28 splines.

As a general rule, it's not a good idea to post directly for Mr 5.0, he's got a ton of stuff going on, and although I'm sure he'd love to answer everybody's question, he's asked in the recent past not to be directly addressed for answers to tech questions. Although, he's been a welcome sight more frequently, lately.

Yeah, it's 28 splines and Unit is right.
