Changed intakes today!

I have been having problems with bad drivability and no low-end torque, well I changed intakes from a Vic Jr to a performer rpm and it is soooo much faster now. This thing even feels smoother when driving and revs faster and the bog it had when you stabbed the throttle is gone.

I can't wait to get it back to the track.

Before it would not even spin 1st gear and now I am getting sideways in 2nd gear with a c-4 (3-speed) and nitto drag radials.

This is the first time I have actually been happy with the car since I got the new motor in.

I thought you had already been down this road, and determined the single plane was better. Dude, you're confusing me. Oh well. I'm glad the dual plane is working for you. It's a much more responsive intake. Which carb are you using with it?

Take care

Still the 750.

I used the dual with the 302 but I thought the 347 would like the vic better but I was wrong.

Next time at the track we are going to try the 650 and see if it makes a difference.
