Stock Cam- AFR 185's

With the stock cam would I be able to run the 185's w/o fly cutting w/1.6 rockers?

Yes
You could even get away with 1.7's and 2.02 1.60 valves with the stock cam.

But it is still a good idea to check your clearance.

I hope you are planning on modding the engine later, 185's are overkill on a stock 302

I got a reply from AFR today. The tech says 302 should have 165's, even with a blower they would work great. for the 185's better for the larger motors, though the 165's would be great for low and mmid power on the larger stroker. also, the 185'sDO REQUIRE FLYCUTTING ON A 302, thats straight from AFR tech.
