Kill Switch? Good Idea, Bad Idea

I would like to put a kill switch in my 90 5.0. I heard I could mess up the electical system? Burn relays and such due to the switching on and off. I don't trust car alarms because someone was able to steal mine with a ungo alarm. Until I scared them off! How and where do you recomend I wire one in? What should I look out for during installation? Thanks everyone!

If you just wire it into the ignition wire going to the solenoid I don't see why it would cause any harm. The wire has no power going through it for it to do any damage to any relays until you turn the key.

the best kill switch you don't have to cut any wires or anything. when you leave your car just take the fuel pump relay with you. mine is located under the driver seat and just pops out.
