Intake Advise Please
I am thinking about selling my gt40 and 65mm TB and getting a Edelbrock RPM and 70 mm TB. What do you guys think? If either of these which one then?

I'd save a little and get the Holley or get the Track Heat. Holley is the top dawg though. With those mods a 70 won't improve much over a 65 if any.....some cars actually lose some bottom end. Getthe 70 if you plan on more power in the future though.

I agree. I think Holley is the way to go. Nothing wrong with the Edelbrok (exellent quality) but the Holley will make more power.

You have absolutely nothing to gain with that swap with your combination except losing bottom end and throwing your money away. Other than that, go for it.. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif
The edel heads match up with the gt40 intake real good flow wise. I cant see you gaining anything witht he new manifold, and I had both TB's, 65 and 70mm. The 65 is better, more throttle response, and no loss up top. ------------------ 1993 GT/AOD '93 Mustang GT |
It would be real easy to sell your used GT-40. I for one would like to know how much you would sell it for. A new intake would do me a world of good.

If you're going with an Edelbrock, I'd say..."BUY MINE!!!" It's a hogged out performer, ported and polished by Paul's Automotive Engineering. Then I can buy the Systemax like I wanted to in the first place!
