Plug Gap
I just ordered the McCarville tune up kit for my 91GT's long-overdue tune-up... and I'm embarrassed to say it, but I can't remember what I should gap the plugs to! I'm running a bone stock motor- I do, however, have the Crane PS-91 coil, which would lead me to believe I can open up that gap a little more. What do you guys recommend?

I shouldn't post this, because I am not completely sure, but seem to remember around a .052-.054 ? (at least for my 95)
had to edit, forgot the '0' infront... [This message has been edited by slo95 (edited 10-25-2001).] |
Check your underhood sticker for the factory specs, but it will likely say .044". Don't go past .050".
