H-Pipe Question
 

When I installed my Mac H-Pipe a couple of weeks ago i realized i didnt have an O2 hose in my stock H-pipe w/cats. A freind said it wouldn' hurt to leave it open, but ever since my car has had a really messed up idle. My idle will drop and come back up when I'm stopped w/ the clutch in or right after i get on it and put the clutch in. So I was wondering if that could be part of the problem or maybe dirty TPS or what? Thanx for any replies.

Plug the hole. See if it helps at all. If not, you may have a problem with the exhaust gas velocity being to high for the O2 sensor to properly read. Do a search for Rebel79's Off Road H Pipe Fix.

Thanx Unit. I'll post what happens when i plug the hole. If thats not it what would be an easy way to check my exhaust gas velocity? Thanx again fir your reply. Later,
