valve lash

How would I tighten the rockers down? Isn't it like a 1/4 or 1/2 turn past the point where it stops ticking? Do I have to get each cylinder to TDC? I never should have skipped out of shop class! Please help!

Everything is stock on my 5.0 valvetrain except for Crane Cams 1.6rr, 1.94/1.60 stainless valves and dbl. valve springs.

If your rockers are adjustable, you can set them with the engine running by backing them off until they clatter, and then tighten them 3/4 of a turn after the clattering stops. The engine will sputter for a second. Wait 15 seconds before adjusting the next valve. Repeat until finished.

Take care,
