Started tuning with the Speedbrain tonight.....

and all I can say is WOW I just did the basics and adjusted A/F and made my timing ramp up to full advance by 3000rpm "34 degrees". Throttle response is much quicker and the car actually feels much faster now, it actually scared me which hasn't happened in a long time, I bet the car picked up 20-30HP just with the little that I have done tuning tonight.

Speedbrain has a built in dyno feature and guess what, when we had the Speedbrain on my Dads 93 Cobra it was only 2hp off the dynojet on three consective runs ..my car reads 405HP at 6350rpms which is where I shift, A/F at 12.5:1. Tomorrow I will give it a little more fuel and shift at 6500rpm to see if the power increases, I will of course get it to a dyno to confirm. I hope to port match my intake this week to th3 75mm TB and get to the track on the 10th to hopefully finally grab a 11 sec pass.

Good Luck with the tuning! I don't think you'll have any problems hitting 11s, unless you break something.

I envy you, Rick. I really want a Speedbrain. I know my car will run a lot stronger with a richer a/f ratio.

They do not sell the Speedbrain anymore http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif ACC stopped selling it about a year ago I believe it ran $700 brand new, since Dad upgraded to a PMS it cost me almost nothing http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif
