Waxing
 

I have a 89 red mustang.I've had the car since 91 and 2-3 days after i've waxed/polished the car the paint appears to get cloudy and dull. I've tried all kinds of waxes and polishes and the like....any others having the same problem out there and if so, did you ever figure it out why and fix it?

Hmm, your best bet will be stripping the wax off, they sell stuff to do that with, and get a good quality wax (other word's don't go cheap)and wax it, be sure have a damp cloth when you buff it on. I noticed if you have too many different kinds of waxes can cause a conflict of interests (i.e. cloudy finish.

try using a rubbing compound first to remove any oxidized paint then use a high quality wax.
