E7TE Heads w/ 82 GT

What is the combustion chamber volume on these? Is the cc on Mustangs different than that on truck heads?

Does anyone know about clearance issues with these on a 82?

I'm lookin' at the Hot Rod mag (Dec. 2000) article "Low Dough 5.0"
A guy says that these take an 83 from 8.4:1 to 9:1. I'm pretty sure that 82's and 83's have the same pistons.

The E7TE heads are both on the mustang and truck. Same head. Therefore, same volume. As far as clearance. I'm assuming that you have flat topped pistons. I am running flat toppers with a stock HO cam and have no problems. I've heard that anything other than stock lift and duration will cause bad probs, but not sure. You're right about the compression, it is around 9:1 or so.
