I HAVE A 1965 6 CYL MUSTANG COUPE.
MY HIGHLIGHTS FLASH ON AND OFF SOMETIMES. BUT THE TAIL LIGHTS STAY ON AND DO NOT FLASH ON AND OFF LIKE THE HIGHLIGHTS. NO OTHER LIGHTS SEEM TO BE EFFECTED BY THIS. I PULLED BOTH HEADLIGHTS AND CHECK THE WIRING AND EVERY THING LOOK OK.WHAT DO YOU THINK THE PROBLEM COULD BE. MANY THANKS

The headlight switch is one of the biggest trouble makers so take a good look at it. If it has never been replaced that could be it.

HI CLARK, THANKS FOR THE INFO, WILL TRY THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH. IF THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH IS
DEFECTIVE WOULD THE TAIL LIGHTS STILL WORK.
THE HEADLIGHTS SEEM TO JUST SLOWLY GO OFF AND ON. THANK YOU

For some reason the headlights can be cutting in and out without making the tail lights do it. But as far as slowly cutting in and out you got me there, at least the switch is one of the easier things to try.
