Brake Problems
 

I have a 93 GT with a break problem.I have had the pads replaced and rotors turned twice and after about 10K miles it starts to vibrate even though the pads are not near worn out.I have been told that the rotor gets hot and actually worps, thus causing the vibration.I hestiate changing the rotors with fear that the same thing may happen to the new ones.Any ideas?

Every time you cut your rotors you have less material to help dissipate heat build-up. This is your problem. You need to get new rotors. I would suggest ford rotors or better to eliminate this problem. Also, make sure your rear brakes are adjusted correctly. This will help ensure that they are doing their part helping your car stop.

Just so you know, this board is for stangs much older than yours. Check out the late model board. Good Luck

dpendlet, Jerry is absolutely right on both counts. Are both sides rotors run out of tolerance(warped)? Rear adjustment is important an you my also check the combo/porptioning valve. If only one side make sure that the caliper "floats" freely.
