Hood stripes
 

I plan to paint hood stripes on my hood, which includes turn signals. I know the correct width and that I should paint to the W/S. Do I paint out of the well on the hood only? Do I paint out of the insert? Do I paint the grill? Any help will be appreciated.

What year and hood and which stripe scheme are you trying to do?

I should have provided more detail. To the best of my knowledge, hood louvres with integrated turn signals were only an option for classic years 67-68. I beleive there is only one concourse correct stripe paint scheme, 2 black stripes out of the louvres (the alternative is a solid hood color). I've received a reply confirming I should paint the grill and inserts. Unless I hear otherwise, that's my plan. Thanks!

Yep, I've seen those stripes and they go all of the way back to the windshield. I used to have a 67 GTA with that hood but no stripes.
