Too Undercoat or not?
 

I am in the middle of removing the undercoating of my 69 fastback and need some input.The transmission and exhaust are removed so this is a great oportunity to clean and paint this area. I have some of Eastwood's chasis black paint and was planing on using this, but do you think this will be enough? The coating is coming off clean and the paint underneath is in good shape.
I also live in Texas so salt from the roads shouldn't be an issue.
One more item under the drivers and passenger seats there is some small dents and a crease,do you think I should pull these out or not worry about it?

If the bottom of the car is getting painted anyway I would straighten it.

Undercoating? I would coat with LPS-3 or used motor oil, something that will come off with a power wash or steam cleaner. It's a high maintenance approach. Not "irreversable" like Z-bart, etc.

I would almost say this stuff is irreversible nothing like laying under your car in 100 degree heat scraping undercoating,thanks for the response Mach.

As far as pulling the dents out, what is the best thing to fill the holes with? The person before me also liked sheet metal screws so I've got a few extra holes I need to fill.
