Just gettin started

Just starting to work on my new 65 hardtop . Had the same type car in high school . (1975). Midlife crisis ?? Who knows !! Who cares , just happy to have this baby in my gararge !! Car came from somewhere out west originally , but I picked it up in Mass. , my home state . Wicked solid !! 289 4v 4 speed . Bronze with white interior . Just put brakes on it and am now in the process of choosing new exhaust ! Need help here !! I'm what you would call a rookie at restorations . I want something that looks good and goes fast but $$$$ could be a big issue here . Im not intersted in keeping it stock . Any Ideas you guys have to help me trick this up alittle would be greatly appreciated .

I would get a set of Hooker headers (#6111) and a true dual exhaust with 2.5" pipes. The muffler choice will depend on what kind of sound you want.
Take care,
~Chris

If it were me I also would look at JBA headers, I prefer the shorty's for fit and ground clearance and also check with them for complete exhaust system. If you want loud there are alot of choices but have heard good things about flowmaster but they are not cheap.
