'73 Mustang Pitman Arm Shaft
 
I am trying to repair my steering gear box on my Mustang but I can't remove the Pitman Arm from the Pitman Arm Shaft. I don't know if I need a special tool or that I am doing it incorrectly. If anyone has any ideas or info I would be very grateful.

Wolf,
You need to go get a pittman arm puller and it will come right off. A tool rental place will have them and Autozone's will loan you this tool.
