Proportioning Valve

Motherinlaw owns an 88 Thunderbird which is currently having brake problems, Her Mechanic has identified the culprit as a defective proportioning valve, he say's it is no longer available for her t-bird. Would a mustang Proportioning valve work?

Don't know about the mustang interchangability but I am sure you could always put in an adustable proportioning valve.

My advice too. Make it adjustable.

Thanks Guys It seems as thou the mechanic found a used unit at the junk yard and replaced it today. I had suggested to him to install the adjustable , but his comebck was it would take a lot of new plumbing for the brakes to accomplish that. so he went to the junkers for a donor.
