66 5-litre fueltank

We have a 66 Mustang with a 90 5-litre drivetrain installed. The last hurdle is to install the newer fuel pump sending unit in the old tank. Anybody know of a bolt in tank/fuel cell, or any tricks to help us? thanking you in advance. Dale

The only tank that comes to mind is made by Windsor-Fox. It is pretty pricey, but is basically a new original style tank modified to accept the new pump.

I wish there were more options, as I am about to hook up the efi on mine. You can always go with an in-line pump.

Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.

Mustangs Plus carries a couple of different styles of (I believe) direct fit fuel cells for the early cars. Pretty sure that these require an external mounted fuel pump. They are a bit pricey $800/$900 but looked nice.
