restoring a 78' mustang II
 
hey there!
i am a new commer i bought a 78' mustang II a year ago, and i am looking for parts and info on how to restore my mustang? Does anyone know of any info. they could give me on where and how to find parts for my mustang?? My husband keeps telling me that this is gonna be a hard car to restore since nobody wants or has these cars? Any info anyone would have for me is greatly appreciated!! Thanx!

Welcome to the board. This is a pretty good place. As for you car, people who are true mustang fans know that for the mustang to live on the mustang II was as much a part of the line any other model. It kept the 'stang alive through the gas crisis.

I would suggest looking for some books or websites having to do with restorations for your car. I'm sorry, I don't happen to have any available for you.

And you should always have a Chilton or Haynes manual for your car as well.

I did a quick search and found this link.

It hasn't been updated in a while but it seemed to have some other links and some helpful info. It might be a good starting point. Definately get a Chilton's or Haynes manual.
