Attention mass air experts

A company in Houston (strictly performance) makes their own harnesses for the mass air conversion on speed density fords. Does any one out there know how they do this? I know you need a new computer for the mass air.

well its prolly like the pro-m mass air conversion harness like the one i used..it basically has the 4 wires in a loom with the connector that plugs into the mass air and you have to move pins around and splice into the speed density wiring harness..its really not that hard at all..yes you do need a computer, mass air meter and the new sensor off a 89+ car to replace the map sensor..hope this helps

I have the M.A.F. meter, the elbow, and the hardware. I found a computer (thanks CAPRI306)and I have ordered the jumper harness but I haven't heard anything about the "new sensor off a 89+ car to replace the map sensor.." Could you tell me what that is?I have not seen it in any of the conversion kits.

well on a speed desity car thier is a vacuum hose going to the map sensor witch is the black box to the immediate left of the vacuum tree..on mass air cars thier is no hose going to it..some people have luck plugging off thier old map sensors but me and most people just get a sensor out of a 89+..hope this clears it up

you dont need to replace the sensor, and you shouldnt plug it up. The vacuum line opening on the map sensor should remain open to atmosheric pressure, and the vacuum feed that was going to it from the engine should be the only one plugged off.
