flickering instrument lights

Help! I own a '70 Mach I which until recently had no electronic circuit problems. The instrument and parking lights start flickering on and off after the headlights are turned on for a while. This seems to be temperature related because it does not happen until the engine bay and/or circuit heat up. Also, it happens much easier when the "sport lamps" are turned on. I appreciate any ideas or suggestions.

It may be the headlight switch going bad.

I second the switch.

I'll third it, sure sounds like the switch.

Thanks for your replies, as they reinforced my initial guess.

One of my budies just had a similar problem with his headlights. The wires that plugged into his voltage regulator were loose.
