What's the weight savings of T5 over T10

I'm about to install a T5 in my car, hope it holds up till I get a tremec. Currently I have an iron case Borg Warner T10 and it's heavy. Does anyone know the weights of these 2 trannys? Thanks for any info

can't tell you for sure, but I know the T5 only weighs about 70 pounds. It is much lighter than the old T10. I'd guess 30-40 pounds lighter.

Hey, 30-40 lbs. is 3-4 HP. Makes me want to put my fat a$$ on a diet.
