Harmonic Balancer wobble

I got a 260 V-8 off of a '64 Ford Ranchero, and when the engine is at idle or a little above idle the harmonic balancer wobbles a bit, and causes the engine to slightly shake. When I had the engine rebuilt I had the shop balance it for me. However, once you get up in the RPM's the wobble stops. I was wondering if anybody knows if this is normal on this engine or not? And if it isn't is this a serious problem?

The only engines that would be normal on now have broken cranks. It is a VERY bad thing, and needs to be replaced yesterday, if not sooner.

Thanks for the quick reply. One more question. Can a 289 harmonic balancer be used for the 260?
