drag springs...
 

I will be putting eibach drag launch springs in soon and read somewhere that the rear quad shocks slow down what the springs are supposed to do. What is the alternative? I havent seen any special shocks for this purpose...do they just get removed?
Any help will be appreciated..

Yes, you just remove them.
No big job, pop off the tire and you need 2 sizes of sockets...5/8" and 3/4" maybe???
They do slow down the reaction of the suspension(my SSM's said to take them off too)
You will also gain about 1 1/2"-2" of clearance for a wider tire.
