I want to take time to thank Bill, George, all the FFW staff, sullivan county sheriffs dept., and bristol dragway staff for a great weekend. I spent some of the money back on shirts and renewing my MM+FF subscription. I just race for the fun of it anyway. I actually messed up on that first run and hit neutrel by accident, but it got me $100 dollars. I found George to be very straight forward and humorous during tech and in the pits. Once again thanks for a great race. I believe alot more of the local crowd will enter true street next year after watching this years race, it being a bristol FFW first.

I went to the Bristol FFW expecting something huge. I've been to all the 5.0 Civil Wars in Rockingham and was expecting Bristol to be much bigger. It was about the same except Bristol had a few more vendors. Are all the FFWs about the same as Bristol was? C-ya.

No. I'd have to say that the Bradenton (Spring Break Shootout) and Norwalk events are much bigger than the rest. Would you agree Jeff?

I believe bristol would be a little bigger with better advertising. Maybe some radio ads in surrounding markets like knoxville, asheville, roaneoake, etc. Most people I talked to didn't even know about it. It was still a good turn out thou. Better than the before bristol FFWs. The rockingham events usually have better payouts too. Bristol has the facility now, that could support WFC, if the oppurtunity came it's way.

Norwalk has definitely been the largest this year. We had nearly 1000 tech cards (race & show) for the event. As a matter of fact, in the Quick Ford class at Norwalk, there were more than 256 cars entered on Saturday! They had to go 10 rounds to determine the winner.

Of course, I'm a little biased since Norwalk is my home track, but those folks at Norwalk really know how to put on an event.
