Anybody replace the dual heater black metal tubes with something else?

I was thinking of getting rid of the twin black metal tubes that the hoses from the heater core attachs to on the lower intake and replace them with some braided hose and I guess I could put a AN fitting in the lower intake for attachment. Has anybody down this? Anybody have pic's?

The hoses you are talking about should be the heat resistant rubber. I don't see any problems with changing them as long as you secure them right and they can take a little heat. Light Em Up!!! http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...oard/smile.gif
