Hey us so cali guys should get together to goto Famoso (bakersfield) in two weeks or less or something... Lets figure a date we can all go, cuz Im ready. I want to get there before it gets too hot!

Wheres Bakersfield at Sky? I would like to go. Depends on how my clutch holds up. Its startin to go on me.

Its about 2 hrs drive from ventura. Try typing in bakersfield and where you live in yahoo maps or something to find out how far it is.

Are you sure that clutch is going, I have the FMS clutch too, 2 years, lots of abuse and its perfect.

Gotta wait until I swap the engine and rear end from the 86 to the 93.

Sky, Yeah, Im sure its goin. I shifted at about 5 grand yesterday and I could smell it for about 5 minutes. My throw out bearing is starting to chirp at me too. I was going to get a GT40 intake this month but it looks like Im getting a clutch instead.....maybe, just maybe I will get both.

I'll see what i can find out. I know a guy who has raced there before several times.

ok it doesn't look like any special events on the 19th. here is the phone number for famoso 661-399-2210. I'll try to call monday to see what time it opens on the 19th, yada, yada. if you have time maybe you could call as well.

ok hears the deal. the next time it's open for time trials is fri. 25 & sat. 26th.
fri. is 6-11 at night. she said we would get at least 10-12 runs in!
sat. starts at 1pm but they have e.t. bracket racing. they will get to go 3 times in a row, for qualifing, then they would rotate it between e.t. guys and time trial guys. she said we should be able to get in at least 5 runs.
admission is $18 if you race, $12 if you watch.
im thinking fri. looks good. i may have to take off work early for some cooler air and 10-12 runs! what do you think?
