Went to Moroso last night in the 87 GT (see sig)

here are the times......

*i acutally boged on this run trying to slip the clutch for the first time.

Yea i got a beating on that run but its all good.

saw a dealer special Z28 there last night called a Z29R....Ran 12.4.

Saw a bullitt and the guy said the best its done is 14.6..i was like gotta love the 87 GT...lol. Couple LS1s running mid/low 13s. Man those cars are quick with just a few mods.

Anyways...thought i would share.

Again nice times for the stocker. Kinda funny how a nearly 15 year old car runs with the new Stangs!!!! Cool!

That V6 stang reminds me of when I had mine. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif The best times I got from it was
18.7 s at 72.11 mph (1/8 mile in 11.985 s @ 58.10 mph.

14.6 for that many miles on your '87 is great. You should be proud.

Thanks guys! The car is a blast to drive. i would love to get the 60' times down a little bit but i'm riding on street tires.

i should be at Moroso tonight weather permitting. i'll probaly just watch rather than run.
