im getting a 99 mustang, and i was wondering what yall recommend for making it into a 10 sec car its a stock V6 but im going to build a 347 Stroker so thats not really an issue what kinda parts? money isn't really a problem cause this is going to take me awhile anyway so it will all happend eventually, and thoughts about NOS, i heard it damages your engine every time u use it? is there truth to this? any info helpfull

There are a lot of questions here.

What parts to turn a 99 V6 to a 347? There are probably a couple guys here that could answer that but I'm not one of them http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/tongue.gif, seriously, that is going to take a hell of a lot of work.

Nitrous (there are more people that make systems besides NOS), can be hard on your car, it just depends on how you use it (plus it will get real expensive filling a bottle up all the time).

If you want to fix up your V6 check out the V6 board, you'll get some good idea's over there. As far as the 347, post that one in both Modular and Windsor. Good Luck

Isn't a 347 a 5.0 windsor block bored over? Why would you buy a new mustang and drop in a 5.0? Getting into 10's is gonna cost you as much as the car or more. You would have to switch out tranny, engine, rearend,driveshaft, well everything!
