89gt vs 92 vette
 
Thursday on my way home I came up beside a 92 vette, 2 dudes thinkin they could take this 89 well after the light change and we launched the vette never saw anything but tailights. I pulled him by a good 2 links. After that next red light he went across a parking lot so he didnt have to face the defeat.

1989 Chevy S-10, EX. Cab-383(500+hp on motor), trick flow heads, trick flow pistons, etc... autometer phantom gauges, "built" 700R4, roll cage, lexan back window, corbeau seats, R.H.S. 5 harnesses, Fuel cell, convo pro wheels, 15x14's with 29x18.5 M/T'S on back, 15x4's on front, nitrous, and so much more!

That's all your mods and you pulled 2 cars ahead???? Wow, '92 vette, if it were stock, should run in high 13's. 2 cars ahead would mean you've got the fastest stock Stang ever (11-12 second 1/4), unless he couldn't drive to save his life. You sure he was racing?

bada$$ - 2 lengths isn't 1 or 2 secs in the 1/4. It's only a couple tenths...

I know that this threads been dead for 2 days now, but I wanted to clear the air - my bad.......I had a serious brain fart (and no weed to blame it on http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif) when I posted that 1-2 car lengths was 1-2 seconds......I know that it's approximately 8-10 cars for every second http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif
