Spanked by a Shelby glhs
 

I was driving home from work feeling kinda froggy. When this black Shelby glhs pulls up next to me. I knew these cars stock are only high 13 cars so I went for it. The light turned green and I got him out of the hole. By the time I hit second gear he was 2 cars ahead of me. He spanked my a$$. When I caught up to him at the next light I gave him the thumbs up. Beware of those 2.2 shelbys roaming our streets. If modified they are quick....very quick

95 gt:edelbrock intake and heads ported and matched, 70mm throttle body, 75mm mass air meter, 2040 cam, 1.7 cobra rockers, bbk equal lengths,high flow h-pipe(bbk) super chip, 24lb injectors,190lph fuel pump(bbk), under drive pulleys, 3;73 gears, cold air induction(bbk), Has other mods but not too sure what my mechanic did---lost the list. hoping for low 11's in the 1/4 mile. was dynoed at 374 hp. Rimmer racing built the engine. (Bill Rimmer Pro 5.0 racer) Will be putting in a 347 block balanced

The GLHS in the Omni body were mid 14 second cars stock, but were easily tweaked. The Mopar "Super 60" package too those lil 2.2's to 300 hp. They could run in the 12's with this stuff if you could keep a trans in it.

I've seen a few in the mid 12's around 110 mph. I've also had 3 GLH turbo cars. They are definitely fun.
