Lighter flywheels, driveshafts etc... don't actually add hp, because they aren't introducing anything new to the motor like fuel or air. What it actually does is "free" up lost horsepower that wasn't able to be released due to the weight of the iron FW. Just like wih exhaust, rockers, pullies and a fan, you jut free up the hp, not add. Blowers, TB's, Intakes, blowers, Heads and stuff like that are what add hp.

I do know also that the aluminum and billet flywheels warp a lot easier than the iron ones and don't last as long due to less strength in the structural metals.

I think when all is said and done you will see 490. Good Luck
