the guy who had the '89 GT before me bought a Hurst and the 2nd to 3rd shift sucks. I've missed quite a few shifts even on 3rd to 4th as well.
If i were to buy another short throw shifter (which i don't see myself doing anytime soon) i personally would buy either a Steeda Tri-Ax or Pro-5.0 because i've heard really good things about them from alot of people and for something you use so often, saving up the extra money for a top quality product is really a worthwhile investment.
