I'd try spraying some starting fluid in the throttle body/carb while cranking it. If it starts then you know its a problem with the fuel system. If not, then its electrical.

Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to "on"?
If the fuel filter hasn't been changed in a while, then it would be a good idea to get a new one now (although this probably isn't the problem)
