Also, like I mentioned before, the B series motors have done fine with their 10yr old technology and have gone well over 150k safely with no extra wear. I also pointed out that most people who will buy those cars will rarely push them to the limit constantly. If a stang is pushed hard everyday, it will also have premature failure in certain components as well. Also, your arguements about the bike aren't really valid either as most if not all sportbike owners push their bikes hard as you well know. 10 years from now, we still won't have an answer to this because I seriously doubt that the norm for S2000 owners is to drive hard. If anyone is really serious about finding out for sure, feel free to chip in and buy me an S2000. I will conduct an extensive evaluation of the engines longevity and it's puny powerband
