OK first thing is that yes I have a non-airbag car. I bought the faces for the 90-93 stangs. I had to swap in a 140MPH speedo. The only problem is that you have to put some black electrical tape on part of the backing so that the light does not shine through the face. All warning lights can be seen.
MAC does make faces for the 87-89 cars. I can get them through my supplier.
Now for the white needles. The problem is not at night, the problem is during the day! Think about it, white face, white needle
I used a trick (keep it between us
) scrape the white paint off the back of your stock needles and paint them orange.
Since my interior is full of Autometer gauges I picked up a bottle of testors model paint at a local store. Testors actually makes a color that is an
exact match to Autometer Orange. So I scraped off the white, and painted on the orange. They light up great at night, and look kick *** during the day!
