Well, i have edelbrock small block ford aluminum heads on mine. I really like them. But if your car runs hot, you have to watch out, because the cast iron block and the aluminum heads expand and shrink at different rates, making it prone to cracking if it runs really hot. But minee ran EXTREMELY hot when i had aluminum heads on it for a while and had no problems. I got a granatelli aluminum radiator from jegs for $300 that worked miracles. i need to put in a hotter thermostat because it never gets hot enough to get out of the warm up cycle. If your planning on going blower or nitrous, or lots of compression, the aluminums are more forgiving on detonation. I really like my aluminum's, i think they are thee way to go, but it's just my opinion. ask around and see what you think.
