Default Rough idle when cold

Our stang runs really rough when it's cold. We took it out today and really ran bad - to the point where it wouldn't stay running.. It actually gives the indication that it's flooded. Let it sit for a while and was able to get it started and idling. Seems like when the engine got warmed up - it ran better. When we got the car it had about 1/2 tank of gas - not sure if there's any water in it or how long it's been sitting. Topped it off today with some high-test and put some fuel anti-freeze in the tank.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can check to perform process of elimination? I'll be putting on a new fuel filter to see what that does. I've seen posts about the TPS voltage could that be something to check - if so where do I check - and what voltage should I be seeing?

Thanx for any help with this one!
