Personally I wouldn't...I like the appearance, but haven't you seen the dudes that send in pics of their modded Tbirds to MMFF Showcase or something, and they're only running 13s with heads, cam, intake and bolt ons?
So many times I've been like WTF? WHy? HOW?
But then I realized how much heavier they are...I think for someone such as yourself on a limited budget, its going to cost as much to make this car fast as it would to drop in a V8. I say whichever you will be happier with in the long run...
