Here's my experience with them...
I have the same size but on a 7.5" wheel, so they aren't planted quite as flat and therefore the traction suffers.
When I first got them, I went to the track and heated them up decent but not a whole lot. Couldnt cut better than a 2.0x 60ft time.
After that, I talked to a few people and they said they really need to be heated up to hook well. The next time, I tried this but the track sucked because a lot of ricers go there and drag the water from the burnout box up to the start line. so my 60ft didn't get any better, although i was really burning the tires up
Then I finally made it to a good track. By this time the tires had about 2/3 of its tread left and were starting to hook well. I made about 11-12 passes, all with a smoky burnout and cut mid 1.8sec 60ft times. But I wasn't aware that I didnt need to smoke them alot to get them to hook after they are so worn. This caused me to waste alot of tread and I left the track with about 1/3 tread left
So once your tires start hooking well, don't burn them as much, just do about a 3-4 second burnout and your all set.
By the way, most people run between 14-18psi. Mine were best at 15
hope this helps
