Exhaust components are a wise investment. They will make more power now while its N/A, and they will really shine when he puts the blower on.
I would stay away from the chip, intake spacer, and pulleys because they will be useless when he installs the SC.
If he has money left over after the exhaust work, he can just put that towards upgrades that will help the SC, like upgraded fuel and/or ignition systems.
