With your mods, I wouldn't worry about it. My Probe is quick but it isn't a Mustang Killer that's for sure. I have surprised a few stockers with those 4.39 gears and the fact that it revs to 7000 rpms BUT anything with mods would hand it its azz anywhere other than the highway.

I don't know what year that Cobra was he raced or how terrible your friend's bros driving is

but I know my Snake would be an easy 8 cars ahead of my Probe at the end of the 1/4.
