the stock intake will flow pretty well if you know what do do..the lower intake is the restrickion..open that up or buy a holly systemmax 1 lower intake..then you can have the upper extrude honed if you wish..every bit helps
to give you an idea of how our "stock" appearing car(the money maker
) does..try high 12's on a all season tire..it still has a stock intake/massair/tb..only mods to car are ederbrock heads,b-303,3.73's, full exhaust..car goes mid 11's on slicks and 125shot..
so there is hope in the stock intake the way it sits..altough most people will tell you otherwise i suggest getting heads b4 you buy a intake
