Since car prices vary by such things as location, demand, time of year, economy, etc. The most accurate figures come from the wholesalers that go to the auctions in your area.
They know what the car will bring, in real money. Not some inflated or deflated value. These people deal with values all day and everyday.
The books you buy are just that books. They will give you an idea but, I have seen many cars not bring anywhere near what the book says they should bring and I have also seen cars bust the book.
It's an ever changing enviroment.
