My dad bought me my first car but when he handed me the keys, I said 'Bye...I'm going to go riding around'. Well, on my way out the door he said, 'Uhhmm...You forgot something' I replied; What? He threw me a little black payment book then said 'Get a job' He-he.
We still laugh about it but I took care of that car & respected it more because I had to pay for it. Even though back in the early-to-mid '70's you could get away with street racing more than you can now. There wasn't as many cars as there are now.
Oh well, enough of my long -winded story.
