Hey all, I have Edelbrock heads and my machinist friend profiled the bottom of the springs with a die grinder to remove the sharp edges. I had the heads inspected after 20k miles and the spring seats were just fine.
Usually I have the rev cups installed, and I can't remember why I didn't this time. What I have seems to work okay.
